Poverty: Philanthropist,  Abubakar distributes food items to over 12000 Muslims, Christians in Adamawa

A philanthropist and entrepreneur, Diaulhaq Abubakar, has distributed food items and cash to 12,000 Muslims and Christians in Adamawa State, as a way to cushion economic hardship and poverty among citizens in the country.

He described the lenten period as a time to give and assist the less privileged ones in the society, adding that the providing of food items and cash aid, especially in this sacred periods of Ramadan and Lent.

As the President of Blue Community Africa, a foundation he established to support the underprivileged, Abubakar has ensured that thousands of families receive essential items such as rice, sugar, Maggi, and cash incentives.

 “This is a testament to our commitment to assisting the less fortunate, as commanded by God,” he said.

Abubakar’s humanitarian efforts go beyond mere charity; his foundation has empowered thousands with life skills in agriculture, ICT, painting, and education, enabling them to break free from poverty’s grip. “We’re investing in human capital, not just providing handouts,” he emphasized.

The philanthropist’s vision is to create a more productive and prosperous Adamawa State, where individuals can thrive regardless of their background. 

His partnerships with institutions like Indian Institute of Technology Madras and Modibbo Adama University aim to facilitate knowledge transfer and skills training, equipping beneficiaries with the tools they need to succeed.

“We’re not just talking about change, we’re making it happen,” Abubakar said. “We’re placing a lot of priorities on skills, and we’re seeing remarkable results.”
