Nasarawa: Sports club partners US group to provide medical Outreach to vulnerable communities

The Social Sports Club (SSC) Lafia is set to collaborate with the ZUMUNTA Association in the United States to enhance human capital development and provide medical outreach to vulnerable communities.
The President of the ZUMUNTA Association, in the United States of America, Mr. Sunday Bitrus who made this known during a conference call, expressed his appreciation for the leadership of SSC Lafia for initiating the partnership.
He assured the club of ZUMUNTA’s readiness to collaborate, pending the submission of a comprehensive blueprint outlining the club’s activities.
“We are pleased with this initiative and commend the Social Sports Club Lafia for reaching out. Once we receive and review the blueprint, we will identify specific areas where we can work together effectively,” Mr. Bitrus stated.
Earlier, the Chairman of SSC Lafia, Idrisu Abdulquadri, highlighted the club’s commitment to improving the lives of vulnerable people in Nasarawa State through strategic partnerships.
“Our mission is to bridge gaps in human capital development and healthcare delivery. Partnering with the ZUMUNTA Association is a step towards achieving these goals, and we are optimistic about the impact this collaboration will have on our communities,” Abdulquadri noted.
He added that the club would soon finalize and present its activity blueprint to facilitate the partnership process.
The initiative explains SSC Lafia’s dedication to fostering global partnerships to address local challenges, particularly in areas of health, capacity building and the general social lives of the people of Nasarawa state and beyond.
