Loan: Tinubu’s SSA tasks students in S-East to urgently apply for TELFUND

The senior special assistant to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu on community engagement, South East region, Chioma Nweze on Monday tasked students in all the Tertiary institutions in the zone to urgently apply, register for the Tertiary Education Loan Fund for their own benefits.
She inferred that there are no political strings attached in the application of the said loan, and that the process of application is transparent and entirely online.
Nweze who made this known in a statement signed and issued to newsmen in Abakaliki, emphasized that repayment of the said loan will only commence when participants start to earn a living.
The SSA, in a statement tittled “A call to action for south east students to take advantage of the student loan opportunity” stressed that, “I bring you warm greetings and commend your unrelenting pursuit of education and excellence despite the challenges you may face.
Nweze said: “I write to encourage you all to take full advantage of the Tertiary Education Loan Fund (TELFUND) – a game-changing initiative by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s administration designed to make higher education accessible and affordable for every Nigerian student.
“This is not just a loan – it is a doorway to your dreams, and an equalizer for every young man or woman from Ebonyi to Anambra, Enugu to Abia, Imo to all parts of the South East who desires a university or polytechnic education but is held back by financial constraints.
