Kogi: NGO distributes over 10,000 books to schools to mark Gov. Ododo’s 1yr anniversary

A Non-Governmental Organization known as Global Green Pillar Initiative, (GGPI) has begun the distribution of over 10,000 note books to all secondary schools in the 21 Local Government Areas of Kogi State.

It was gathered that the note books distribution by GGPI was to support the one year anniversary of the Kogi State governor, Ahmed Usman Ododo.

The chief executive director of GGPI, Ladi Ahmed Jatto who made this known while speaking with newsmen  Kogi, applauded the state governor, Ododo for his numerous achievements within one year in office.

She emphasized that the purpose of the distribution of the note books to all secondary schools in 21 LGA is to complement the efforts of the Kogi State Government in improving the educational standard of the State.

Jatto equally commended the governor, Ododo for his committed efforts in providing relief materials for parents amidst the current economic challenges in the Country.

The group noted further that the note books will be distributed in the secondary schools located in the three senatorial zones of the state; Kogi central, west and East.
