Insecurity: ‘Nigeria is more secured under Tinubu’s administration – Minister, Idris insists

The Minister of Information and National Orientation, Mohammed Idris has assured Nigerians of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s total commitment to curbing insecurity across the country by ensuring safety of their lives and properties.
He noted that security agencies has been given the marching order to do what ever it takes to ensure that security returns to all parts of troubled areas and the people of Niger state in particular.
Idris made this known while addressing stakeholders at the APC Niger South Senatorial District Zone A interactive session on the forthcoming November first Local Government Councils election in Niger state and the inauguration of members of Campaign Council held in Bida.

The information minister, Idris, however urged Nigerians to have faith and believed in President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s administration and the ongoing reforms.
He disclosed that, the economy agenda are working and the economy is getting better, stressing that this is just the beginning of many better things coming our way.
The Minister, Idris doubled as Chairman Campaign Council for the forthcoming Local Government Councils election in Niger state.
According to him, the ruling All Progressives Congress in the State was in the mood of celebrating even before the conduct of the polls, but decided to scale down its celebration due to the abduction of some individuals at Niger North senatorial district.
” We wanted to dance and sing but unfortunately due to the incidence that happened to our brothers and sisters in Niger North we have decided to scale it down, and prayed that all those that the bandits have attacked, God will give them succour.”
Mohammed Idris however donated one hundred million naira cash to the Campaign Council, with each of the eight Local Government Councils of Niger South Senatorial District receiving ten million naira and twenty million naira to be distributed to women and youth spread across Zone A.
He, however expressed optimism that the APC in Niger state will emerge victorious in the forthcoming Local Government Councils Election, and called on the people to embark on peaceful campaign devoid of rancour while reminding them of the teachings of his Principal Officer, President Tinubu that no one blood is worth anybody position in Nigeria that they should avoid bloodshed.
He also urged them to Imbibe the spirit of brotherhood to see themselves as their brothers keeper because it is democracy and not war.
The information Minister noted that politics is a game of numbers in which at the end there must always be a winner and looser, and would wants Niger lites to as a matter of urgency be Magnanimous in victory and gallant in defeat,
Mohammed Idris who is also the Chairman APC Campaign Council for the grassroot level election in Niger state, however explained that of the one hundred million naira he personally donated, ten million naira will be shared to each of the eight Local Government Areas of Bida, Agaie, Lapai, Katcha, Edati, Mokwa, Lavun and Gbako, that constitute Niger South, while the remaining twenty million naira be shared to women and youth.
