Insecurity: Bauchi Govt To  Build Police Station in Gov. Bala’s Home Town, Duguri

The Bauchi State Government on Saturday announced it’s preparedness to build ultra modern Divisional Police Station in Governor Bala Mohammed Abdulkadir’s home town, Duguri.

The Governor announced this during the groundbreaking ceremony of the new Police station in Duguri. 

He also announced the renovation, rehabilitation of the Futuk Divisional Police Headquarters and the enhancement of the operational base in Mansur.

The Governor who was represented by his Deputy, Mohammed Auwal Jatau, said that collaboration with Police is critical for achieving meaningful progress and ensuring the safety and security of Bauchi State citizens.

The Governor expressed his appreciation to the State Commisioner of Police and the command entirely for their significant contributions to protecting lives and property.

He reaffirmed the Government’s commitment to supporting the Nigeria Police Force by providing advanced security resources. 

The Governor highlighted that the initiative represents the State Government’s strategic determination to bolster internal security operations and to ensure that police personnel are adequately equipped to meet contemporary security challenges.

In his part, the Bauchi State Police Commissioner, CP Aliyu Sani-Omolori commended the Governor for his sustained support and reiterated the Nigeria Police’s dedication to fulfilling its constitutional obligation of safeguarding lives and property.

Sani-Omolori said that the development constitutes a substantial enhancement in augmenting the operational capacity of the Nigeria Police Force, particularly in addressing emerging security threats. 

The Police Commissioner, CP Aliyu Sani-Omolori further said that the facility will significantly improve police responsiveness, enhance officer safety, and foster public confidence in the Force’s capability to maintain law and order within the state.
