Ex-LP Guber candidate, Oko-Eze urges Nwifuru to sack disloyal appointees

The former governorship candidate of the labour party, LP, in the last 2023 general election, Comrade Eze Oko Splendour on Tuesday urged governor Francis Nwifuru to sack all disloyal appointees.

Oko-Eze in a statement signed and issued to newsmen in Abakaliki, said the appointees should be sacked not suspended, and should appoint new people that has capacity to help him develop the state.

He equally urged the governor, Nwifuru to distance himself from the cabals that have allegedly dominated his government. 

The statement reads in part: “i had advised the Governor, Francis Ogbonna Nwifuru to sack all his appointees if he wants to serve Ebonyi People well. 

“This is because, they are not loyal and not ready to work. Their loyalty is somewhere else.

“I equally advised him to distance himself a little from the cabals that have dominated his Government. 

“His Excellency this is the time to show power. Sack them now and appoint the people that will be loyal and work with you to develop our dear State.

“A new Nigeria is possible starting from a new Ebonyi State!” He stressed.
