Enugu govt set to revive school sports – Commissioner, Ekweremadu

Enugu State Commissioner for Youth and Sports, Lloyd Ikechukwu Ekweremadu, has assured that Governor Peter Ndubuisi Mbah led administration will soon revive School Sports , Inter-House Sports Competition,  making Sports mandatory in schools.      

Commissioner Lloyd  Ekweremadu, made the assurance  at the Inter-House Sports Competition , of  Command Day Secondary School Abakpa , Cantonment 82 DIVISION, Nigerian Army.

He pointed out that Sports has the inherent values of encouraging fair-play,respect for one another, responsibility, as well as, deviates the minds of young people from crime .                      

He commended the General Officer Commandant 82  DIVISION, Nigerian Army Major General OT Olutoye and the authorities of Command Day Secondary School, for partnering his Ministry to Improve Sports in the State and for reviving and  Organizing an Inter-House Sports Competition, after 8 years of non Inter-House Sports  Competition in the School.
