Enugu Assembly receives 8 nominees for ENSIEC appointment

ENUGU State House of Assembly, received a letter from Gov. Peter Mbah for confirmation of 8 nominees for appointment into the Enugi State Independent Electoral Commission, ENSIEC.

In the message signed by the Secretary to the State Government Chidiebere Onyia on behalf of Gov Mbah to the House, cited provisions of Section 1 of the State Electoral Commission Act. Volume 3, Cap 59 revised law of the state.

The nominees are Prof. Christian Ngwu, Chairman; Mr. Solomon Udeh, Commissioner; Mrs Chinenyenwa Ngwu, Barr. Ani Obiora George.

Others include Mr. Ifeanyi Ede; Barr. Poly Eze and Emmanuel Ogbodo as commissioners, Emeka Ukwuaba Commissioner.

The Speaker of Enugu House of Assembly Rt hon Uche Ugwu advised the clerk of the house to communicate the Commissioner nominee and inform them to submit 5 copies of their CV’S on Tuesday 9th April 2024.
