Ebonyi PDP tasks stakeholders, delegates to register ahead of Nat’l convention

The Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Ebonyi State Chapter, has urged all leaders, stakeholders and delegates to
register on the e-Registration Portal of the party ahead of the national convention.
The Nations News reports that the National convention of the party is scheduled to hold on March 29th and 30th, 2026, in Abuja.
The party, in a statement signed by the
State Publicity Secretary, Darlington Peter Onwe and issued to newsmen in Abakaliki, said the party will elect its National Working Committee (NWC) and other statutory organs of the Party at the convention.

The statement reads in part: ” We, hereby formally notifies all leaders, stakeholders, statutory delegates, and teeming members of our great Party of the forthcoming PDP National Convention scheduled to hold in Abuja.
“The Convention represents a defining moment in the ongoing process of strengthening internal democracy, consolidating party structures, and repositioning the PDP as a formidable, united, and people-oriented political platform poised to reclaim its rightful place in Nigeria’s democratic leadership.
Ebonyi PDP, however called on, “All delegates and party faithful to ensure that they register on the e-Registration Portal of the party and come to convention venue with the print-out and voters card;
“Participate actively and responsibly in all Convention processes;
“Uphold the principles of unity, fairness, and democratic integrity;
“Conduct themselves in a manner that reflects the dignity and values of the PDP.
The leadership of the party further noted that “The Convention is not merely an administrative exercise; it is a collective opportunity to renew our shared vision.

“And to reinforce cohesion across all levels, and chart a bold, progressive course for the future of our Party and our dear nation.
The State Working Committee, however assures all delegates of adequate coordination and communication regarding logistics and participation guidelines.
