Ebonyi: NAWOJ to honour Tinubu’s SSA, Nweze, others for outstanding performance in S-East region

The Nigeria Association of Women Journalists, NAWOJ, Ebonyi State Chapter is set to deliver a meritorious award to the Senior Special Assistant to President Tinubu on Community Engagement, South East, Mrs. Chioma Nweze for an outstanding contributions to community development and engagement in the region.
The award which will be delivered to Nweze (today) at the 2025 NAWOJ Summit holding at the Eagle Royal Hotel, Abakaliki, will attract the presence of the wife of Ebonyi state governor, Mrs. Mary Moduline Nwifuru and other prominent Nigerians.
The Nations News reports that Nweze, in her tireless efforts in promoting healthcare, economic empowerment, and community development in the South East region is exemplary and second to none.
Nweze, before the meritorious award by NAWOJ, is a distinguished Nigerian lawyer, banker, and public servant with a proven track record of excellence in governance, investment promotion, and community engagements.
She has built a successful career in law and banking, leveraging her expertise to drive growth and innovation in the private sector.
Nweze, a seasoned technocrat, administrator and competent legal luminary has served Ebonyi government in various capacities; Senior Special Assistant on Investment (2019-2021) under the former Governor, David Umahi, where she played a pivotal role in promoting investments in the state.

She also served as Commissioner for Trade and Investment (2021-2023), Ebonyi State, under the same administration, where she worked tirelessly to boost trade and investment opportunities.
And now, she is the Special Assistant on Community Engagements, South East (2023) to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, where she focuses on fostering community development and engagement in the SouthEast region.
Nweze, in all ramifications has demonstrated her commitment to driving growth, development, and community engagement, especially in the South East region and therefore deserved to be celebrated and honoured with the best ‘OUTSTANDING COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENT AWARD’.
