Ebonyi: Gov Nwifuru suspends 2 commissioner over dereliction of duties

Ebonyi State governor, Francis Nwifuru has announced the indefinite suspension of two commissioners; works and infrastructure and development for concessions for dereliction of duties.

The affected commissioners are; Stanley Mbam (Works) and Infrastructure Development for Concession , Ogbonnaya Obasi Abara.

Recall that the governor, Nwifuru had in two months given the affected commissioners, Mbam and Obasi ultimatum to complete all ongoing projects in their ministries but failed to comply with the governor’s directive.

The governor, Nwifuru made this known in a statement signed and issued to newsmen in Abakaliki by the Chief press secretary, Monday Uzor.

The Nations News reports that the indefinite suspension is with immediate effect.

Nwifuru, however ordered them to handover all  government property in their possession  including their official vehicles to the Secretary to the State Government  with immediate effect.
