Criminal activities: Police arrest 14 thugs, recover Knives, Machetes In Bauchi

The Bauchi State Police Command, has successfully arrested over 14 thugs known as (Sara-Suka) and recovered sharp knives, machetes for criminal activities around Bakaro, Kofar Dumi, Tudun Yarima and Kofar Madaki areas of the State.

This was contained in a press statement signed by the public relations officer of the command, Nafiu Habib and made available to journalists in Bauchi.

The fourteen thugs arrested include Abbati, Mamman, Adamu, Khalid, Abubakar, Mahmood, Jabir, Haruna, Khalid, Abubakar, Kabiru, Anas, Mohammed, Abdulkarim.

He said that the thugs are at the age of 18-22, and all of them were coming from the same place of Kafar Dumi, Karofin Madaki, Tudun Yarima, and Bakarom, Bauchi local government area of the state.  

“During interrogation, the suspects freely confessed to having criminally conspired among themselves, armed with dangerous weapons such as; Machetes, Sharp knives, and the likes, storm the aforementioned areas and violently attacked and beat up innocent citizens, dispossessed their valuables such as phones and money and inflicted injuries to anyone who resist to surrender their valuables”

Added that the state police commissioner, Sani-Omolori Aliyu appreciates the continuous cooperation and support from the members of the public and encouraged all to be vigilant.
