Community commends OchIdoma over appointment of Mayor of Otukpo

The Otukpo community has applauded the OchIdoma HRM Dr Elaigwu Odogbo Obagaji John for the appointment of Chief Aloga Ogbogo as the Mayor of Otukpo in Otukpo Local government of Benue State.

A delegation from Otukpo, led by Chief Robert Obeka lya, gave the commendation when they paid homage to the OchIdoma.

He appreciated the paramount ruler for appointing Chief Aloga Ogbogo as the Mayor of Otukpo Local government, noting that the decision was a show of trust in the leadership of their son and brother. 

In his remark, the OchIdoma HRM Dr Elaigwu Odogbo Obagaji John called on the whole Otukpo resident to support Chief Aloga Ogbogo, emphasizing he is the Mayor for the entire Otukpo local government and not Mayor of Otukpo township. 

Agaba-Idu prayed for good health and God guidance as he led the whole Otukpo local government.

He intimated that the office of Mayor is his feathers’ tools, saying that anywhere he can not go, the Mayor will go on his behalf. 

The OchIdoma also thank God for guiding him through his  4 years in office as the OchIdoma, pointing out that only God gives positions. 

  Also speaking Chief Eche Ochela who speaks on behalf of Otukpo township Ward 1 2 and 3, commended the OchIdoma for the peace they are currently enjoying in Idomaland.

He  prayed to God to protect the OchIdoma HRM Elaigwu Odogbo Obagaji John for them. 

In his vote of thank, the clan head of Otada Community, Chief Owuna Oketa thanked the OchIdoma for given their son and brother Mayor of Otukpo Local government, stressing that God would bless the OchIdoma and give him more wisdom, progress in Idomaland. 

On their parts, Chief Akatu Ahubi, Chief Francis Onmoke, Chief Sunday Abechi Rtd Custom Controller, Chief Agbo Agbo and Chief Emmanuel Ongaji, all thanked God for the Life of The OchIdoma and the Mayor as they lead Idoma people to the promise land.
