Breaking: Ebonyi female council boss, Adagba kidnapped by unknown gunmen

Palpable fears and tension has gripped the residence of Ohaukwu Local Government Area of Ebonyi State following the abduction of the female development centre coordinator of Ngbo Central Development Centre coordinator,
Mrs. Blessing Adagba to unknown destination.
The Nations News Nigeria reports that there have been a series of security challenges, ranging from cultism, killings and wanton destruction of valuable properties, abduction of innocent citizens by gunmen amongst others that is bedeviling the Ohaukwu LGA.
It was gathered that the female council boss, Adagba was abducted at early hours of Thursday in her community.
When contacted, the Nigerian Police Force, Ebonyi State Command through the Public Relations Officer, DSP Joshua Ukandu, confirmed the abduction.

He explained that the Anti-Kidnapping Squad is actively working to secure the immediate release of the victim.
Eyewitnesses report that the abduction took place around midnight in the Okposhi Eheku community in Ohaukwu local Government Area of Ebonyi state.
The eyewitness who pleaded anonymity stressed that, “Around 12 am, a group of men disguised as soldiers invaded the residence of Blessing Adagba. They demanded she open the door, but she refused, questioning why soldiers would come at such an hour.”
It was gathered that the victim had to surrender and opened the door for them when the kidnappers brandished firearms and started shooting.
The Nations News Nigeria further gathered that stakeholders and security operatives in Ohaukwu are reportedly mobilizing efforts to ensure that the affected victim is rescued unhurt.
