Benue APC chairman, Omale  identify with Ganduje as board chairman, FAAN

The chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC) unity caretaker committee in Benue State, Benjamin Omale, has applauded the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) National Chairman, Alhaji Abdullahi Umar Ganduje, on his appointment as Chairman of the Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria (FAAN).

Recall that president Bola Ahmed Tinubu, had on Friday last week, announced the appointment of Alhaji Abdullahi Umar Ganduje and the national secretary of the party, Sen. Bashiru Ajibola and 40 others into  federal government board and the Civil Defence, Immigration, and Prisons Services board respectively.

Reacting to this development, Omale described the appointment as well-deserved and commendable and  expressed confidence in the ability of the  national chairman to deliver on his new added responsibilities for national development.

The Benue APC chairman in a statement he personally issued and made available to newsmen in Makurdi, noted that Ganduje’s remarkable track record as an accomplished engineer, seasoned administrator, former Executive Chairman of the Lake Chad River Basin, and two-term Governor of Kano State speaks volumes of his capacity for transformational leadership. 

He further alluded that the APC national chairman sterling qualities and wealth of experience will undoubtedly elevate the airport sector to new heights.

Parts of the statement read: As National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), your exemplary leadership has fostered unity within the party, strengthened its ranks, and attracted notable political figures.

“Under your stewardship, the APC has achieved unprecedented stability and growth, including resolving the crisis in the Benue State APC.

” This pivotal intervention paved the way for the successful emergence of the Unity Caretaker Committee, which has since brought stability to the party and secured a landslide victory in the October 5th, 2024 Local Government Council elections in the State.

“I join countless Nigerians in celebrating your achievements and offering my prayers for continued wisdom, strength, and success as you take on this new national assignment”.

Omale maintained Ganduje’s  indelible footprints of excellence will remain evident in this role, just as they have throughout his illustrious career.
