The National Youths Ambassadors Initiative (ANYA) of the African Democratic Party (ADC) has declared support for Kashim Imam and Adamu Maina Waziri, against allegations and petitions seeking to misrepresent their actions in the party.
Addressing Journalists during a press conference at the NUJ secretariat, Bauchi council, Ahmad Shehu Hassan, clarified that Imam and Waziri acted in the interest of peace, unity, and institutional stability, convening meetings and encouraging dialogue over confrontation.
The North-East Zonal Coordinator of the ANYA, Hashimu Bala Pali who spoke on behalf of the Convener, said that Imam and Waziri, acted with the consent of the party’s national chairman.
He emphasized that the stakeholders’ position aligns with fair hearing and lawful political association principles, as enshrined in Sections 36 and 40 of the 1999 Constitution.

“The names of Kashim Imam and Adamu Maina Waziri have been mentioned in connection with the ongoing leadership misunderstanding within the Bauchi State Chapter of the ADC. We state categorically that both individuals acted in the interest of peace, unity, and institutional stability”, the ANYA clarified.
The National Convener accused Nazif Gamawa and Salanke of disrupting the party’s stability, urging action to prevent further conflict.
He insisted that Kashim Imam’s goodwill and kind gesture stretches the northern region and the 36 state party’s structure, making him relevant to the affairs of Bauchi State members.

Na-Allah further explained that, as directed by Senator David Mark, National Chairman of the ADC, and Alhaji Atiku Abubakar, the existing leadership structure at the local government level should be maintained and not be altered.
The group also expressed condolences to families affected by a recent attack suspected to be carried out by bandits in Gwana district, Alkaleri Local Government of Bauchi state.
