Bauchi lawmakers task works commissioner, Ketkukah to increase development, shun gossip

The Bauchi State House of Assembly Committee On Works and Transport, on Tuesday tasked the commissioner of works, Titus Saul Ketkukah to increase infrastructural development in the state.
The committee chairman, Garba Kawu made this known during their visitation to the ministry, at Umar Abubakar Secretariat, Bauchi State.
He emphasized the need of creating cordial relationships between the committee and the ministry of works.
Kawu said that “We so much believe that your appointment as commissioner will strengthen the relationship between the ministry and the house committee.
“As a professional engineer, we hope that you will use your experience to bring development to the ministry, Bauchi state and Nigeria at large.
In a remark, the deputy speaker of the house of Assembly, Jamilu Umar Dahiru urged the commissioner not to be listening to outsiders, but to work hand in hand with his colleagues to develop the state.
He tasked the Commissioner to use his power and position to correct any wrongful act by his colleagues in the ministry.
In his response, the commissioner for Works and transport, Titus Saul Ketkukah expressed his appreciation to the state house of assembly committee on works and transport for their visitation to the ministry.
Ketkukah promised to work hand in hand with the house committee for the development of the ministry and the state.
He begged the house committee and his colleagues in the ministry to continue to pray for the wisdom and good health of the state governor, Bala Mohammed Abdulkadir to continue developing the state.
