Bauchi:  APC stakeholders applaud Tinubu for appointing Ex-Reps speaker, Dogara as NCGC Boss

The All Progressive Congress (APC) Stakeholders in Bogoro, Dass and Tafawa-Baleawa Federal Constituency over the weekend said the speaker of the 8th Assembly, RT Honorable Yakubu Dogara is a natural born leader whose sterling qualities are exceptional. 

He is one man who grew steadily through hard work, discipline, prudence, fear of God, honesty and can best be described as a bastion of hope, courage, and an epitome of humility to anybody who comes close to him.

This was contained in a press statement signed by the legal adviser of the State APC, Rabiu Garba and other 19 APC  stakeholders and made available to newsmen in Bauchi. Commended President Ahmed Bola Tinubu for appointing him (Dogara) as Board Chairman of the National Credit Guarantee Company Limited (NCGC).

The stakeholders said that President Tinubu did a very good job for appointing Dogara as Chairman, it’s like putting the right thing in the right place. We believe Dogara will take the company to the right place and bring more development to the country. 

They said ” your leadership as the chairman NCGC (Dogara) will no doubt bring credibility, strategic direction, and impact to the laudable initiative.

“The House which he leads has been peaceful and busy discharging its constitutional responsibilities effectively and under his able leadership, has achieved many firsts”.

“It has set unprecedented records of achievements in Nigeria’s legislative and political history since independence in 1960”.

“Notable among the many salient achievements; 300 Bills have been passed so far, over 1,000 resolutions touching many aspects of our national life considered and passed, and hundreds of public petitions from ordinary Nigerians treated and addressed”.

“Outstanding among these are the North East Development Commission, Petroleum Industry Governance Bill, Federal Competition & Consumer Protection Commission Bill to mention a few.”

“Though by convention, presiding officers don’t sponsor bill or motions, Hon Dogara waved it aside and personally sponsored more than 10 Bills and became the first speaker to sponsor a motion on the floor of the House in addition to his advocacy on independence of the local government from the claws of the states”.

Statement said “Appointment of Dogara shows that President Bola Ahmed Tinubu did the right things that reflect fairness and inclusivity in the representation of the Northern region within the federal government”.

“This action not only addresses the concerns raised by various stakeholders regarding regional representation but also underscores the President’s commitment to listening to constructive criticism and making necessary adjustments for the greater good of the nation.”

“With Dogara Tinubu injects new hands people that have the capacity to deliver  because of his experience he will do his best to develop the economy of the country”.

The APC bigwigs said that the newly established company by President Ahmed Bola Tinubu will reduce risks for lenders and make borrowing more accessible for Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs), manufacturers, and even consumers.

They urged the good people of Bogoro, Dass and Tafawa-Baleawa Federal Constituency to continue praying for President Ahmed Bola Tinubu in other Gods to continue giving him wisdom, strength, and knowledge to make Nigeria better.

The group described Tinubu as a listening President, who is committed for the greater good of the nation and prioritizes fairness and inclusivity.

“The recent appointment of Dogara made by President Tinubu is a clear indication of his administration’s responsiveness to the aspirations of the Nigerian people. By ensuring that key positions are filled by capable individuals who can deliver efficiently , we remain grateful.

The APC Stalwarts believe that the appointment of Dogara will not only enhance the effectiveness of governance but also serve to unite the country in the face of challenges that require collective action because of his wisdom and capacity.
