APC chieftain, Anonye vows to contest chairmanship position in Anambra

A chieftain of the ruling All Progressives Congress, APC, Chief Ikechukwu Anonye has announced his decision to contest for chairmanship of the party in Anambra State.

Anonye in a statement signed and issued to newsmen, revealed his plan to participate fully in the forthcoming party’s election holding this year.

He urged party members across the state to support him to clinch the APC chairmanship position.

He stated: “With utmost respect and humility, i wish to formally inform you of my decision to contest the Anambra State Chairmanship of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the coming election (2024) by the Grace of God.

“I therefore solicit your kind support in any way possible to make this aspiration a reality.

“As i count on your usual support, a dedicated platform will be created to help galvanize support for effective communication.

“While i remain committed to rebuilding our party for an aggressive mobilization for the 2025 Gubernatorial contest, i remain thankful for your kind support”he stated.
