Gov Nwifuru suspends 25 commissioners, 14 SSAs, others for failure to attend functions

….says one month suspension is without salaries

The governor of Ebonyi State, Francis Nwifuru on Monday announced the one month working suspension without Salary of twenty five commissioners, fourteen senior special assistants for failure to attend government functions in the state.

Others included in the suspension are twenty four special assistants and twenty two permeant secretaries.

Nwifuru made this known in a statement signed and issued to newsmen in Abakaliki by the Chief Press secretary Monday Uzor.

The governor emphasized that the suspension takes immediate effect.

He directed that the affected officials should not sign any official document within the period  of their suspension, while  Commissioners should hand over to their respective permanent Secretaries. 

The statement reads in part: The governor, Francis Ogbonna Nwifuru has directed that the under listed Government functionaries proceed on one month working suspension without Salary for failure to attend an important Government Function.

The affected commissioners includes; “Stanley Lebechi Mbam, Leonard Uguru, Mathew Nwobashi, Nwogo Obasi, Victor Chukwu, Jude Okpor, Ikeuwa Omebe, Chidi Onyia, Oguzo – Offia Nwali, Ben. Uruchi Odo,  Donatus Ilang, Mrs Ngozi Obichukwu, Moses Ekuma Ikenna, Richard Idike, Mrs. Felicia Nwankpuma and Chinedu Nkah.

Others are; “Ogbonna Obasi Abara, Mrs Nkechinyere Iyioku, Francis Ori, Tochukwu Okorie, Valentine Okike Uzor, Sunday Inyima, Ogbonnaya Okorie,  Elechi Elechi and Stanley Ogbuewu.

Also, the senior special assistants includes; ” Bassey Chukwu,  Mrs. Rose Ofoke, Mr. Kerian Ofoke, Anthony Nwegede, Onu Nwonye, Mrs. Lilian Nwachkwu, Mr. Fred Nwogbaga, Paul Nwogha, Pius Nwoga, Ali Ikechukwu,  Nwiboko Chukwuma, Mrs Esther Nwogha, Caleb onwe and Chinedu Awo.

The special assistants are; “Mr Mbam Emmanuel, Tobias Ogbonna, Easy Okike Uzo, Obinna Oko Enyim, Chima Nnachi Okoro, Nwali Amechi, Sabinus Nwibo, Okorie Jideofor, Sunday ogenyi, Stanley Kaman, Ikechukwu Jideofor, Emeka Okpa Onwe, David Aja, and Frank Uka.

Others are: “John Nwangbo, Ogbonna Melford Nwifuru, Ifeanyi Ujebe, Chima Ogbuagu, Kizito Nwenyi, Uwa Henry Ifeanyi, Elechi Okechukwu Solomon, Ibina John Ogbonna, Mbam Ifeanyi and Nwigum Nonso Christian.

The permeant secretaries are; “Lawrence Ezeogo, Isioma C Arunne-Inyang, Mrs Rose Ibe, Mrs Ogechi Nwobasi, Mrs Anwu Theresa, Lynda Alo, Mr Monday Nkwuda, Mrs Mary Ngozi Otozi, Mrs Martina Obiya, Mrs Ogechi Anaso-Kalu, Emmanuel Onwe and Mr Henry Nworie.

Others are, “Mrs Joy Mbam, Mrs Henrietta Ikechukwu Oruh, Peter Ede, Gabriel Odo, Mrs Mfon Williamson, Ms Alusi Felicia, Mrs  Betty Uzoma, Chukwuma Ojeogu, Ikechukwu Alobu and Mr Fidelis Nwankwo .
