2027: Youths vow to reposition Abia, dialogue with Gov. Otti

Youths in Abia state have vowed to participate in the repositioning of the state by governor Alex Otti led administration.

The Nations News reports that the youths, through the Ministry of Sports and Youth Development is set to host the Maiden Edition of the Abia Youth Leaders Town hall Meeting. 

Investigation revealed that the town hall meeting is aimed at repositioning Abia youths for greater participation in the New Abia agenda, through dialogue, collaboration, and empowerment.

The Commissioner for Youth and Sports Development, Nwaobilor Nwadinma Ananaba, in a statement signed and issued to newsmen by the Chairman, Media and Publicity Abia Youth Town hall Meeting 2025, Promise Uzoma Okoro, said all youth leaders in across the 17 LGAs of the state are required to attend.

Ananaba noted that Governor Alex Otti has introduced several strategic programs designed to positively impact the lives of Abia youths. 

He described the Town hall Meeting as a platform for Youth Leaders to actively engage and contribute to the ongoing initiatives of the Ministry.

Responding, the Special Assistant to the Governor on Youth Development, Onyebuchi Chukwu, emphasized Governor Otti’s deliberate commitment to youth development. 

He noted that the Governor is keen on equipping Abia youths with relevant skills for sustainable growth.
