Eid-el-Fitr: CAN boss, Yohanna urges Muslims to sustain unity, peace in Nigeria

The Chairman of the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN), Niger State chapter, Most Rev. Bulus Dauwa Yohanna has urged Muslim Ummahs to sustain the unity and peace that have existed across the state.
He noted that, the teachings of Quran and Hadith, centred on peace, love, discipline, and humility
According to the Chairman who is also the Catholic Bishop of Kontagora Diocese called on Muslims to use the period to also pray for enduring peace in Nigeria and Niger State in particular.
The State CAN Chairman who spoke through his Media Aide, Daniel Atori, Bishop Yohanna congratulated the Muslim Ummah across the globe especially the Farmer Governor Rt. Hon. Umaru Bago on the successful completion of this year’s Ramadan fast and the Eid-el-Fitr celebration.

Accordingly, he said “I congratulate our Muslim brothers and sisters across the state, especially our Farmer Governor for a successful Ramadan fast. And I commend your show of love, arms giving to the less privileged and the peaceful co-existence with people of other religions.”
The CAN Chairman therefore prayed to the Almighty God to grant the Governor and other leaders the grace to continue to serve humanity selflessly.
