Bogoro LG Boss, Sumi tasks Muslims to shun all kinds of mischief that disrupt public peace

The Chairman of Bogoro local government area of Bauchi State, Survey Yakubu Lawi Sumi on Monday tasked Muslims to shun all kinds of mischief that might disrupt public peace and human brotherhood.
He extended his warm felicitations to the Muslims on the commemoration of the birth of Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him).
Sumi said: “This occasion calls for deeper reflections within the human race” and however urged the faithful to rededicate themselves to the commandments of Allah, shunning all kinds of mischief that might disrupt public peace and human brotherhood.
This was contained in a press statement signed by the chairman and made available to newsmen in Bauchi,
Sumi said that the commemoration of Maulud serves as a reminder to lead an impactful life for the good of humanity.
He urged the people to take advantage of the noble messenger’s bequeathed laws, ethics, manners, and relationships with fellow human beings in the local government and the state.
According to the chairman, Sumi “I join the rest of the world in congratulating Muslims on this special day and urge everyone to reflect on the lessons of the Prophet’s birth and life.”
He called on Muslims in Bogoro local government to use the occasion to pray for the peace of Bauchi and Nigeria, especially during the economic hardship and other criminal activities like the issue of banditry, kidnapping and flooding that claims many lives and properties in Borno State, the capital city of Maidugiri.
He urged people to continue to support the administration of the state governor, senator Bala Mohammed Abdulkadir to do more of the Infrastructural development for the betterment of the state.
The local government Chairman, Yakubu Lawi Sumi assured the Muslim brothers and sisters and the entire good people of Bogoro that his government will continue to work tirelessly for their benefit.
