It’s time for governance, no more campaigns – Bogoro LG Boss, Sumi tells Citizens

The newly elected chairman of Bogoro local government area of Bauchi State on Sunday said that as the election is over, there will be no more campaigns but it’s now time for governance.

He said this at the E4 resorts along Tafawa-Balewa road, saying that the victory is not only for him and his family but to the entire good people of the local government.

“It’s because of your contribution that I emerged winner, I seriously need your prayers in order God to give me wisdom and knowledge so that I can rule with his fear”

He further said that “This is not time for campaign but governance which with the help of God and the people of my local government, Bogoro will surely develop”

He thanked stakeholders for their wonderful contribution during the last election for the mobilisation of the masses who voted for the ruling People’s Democratic Party.

Survey Yakubu Lawi Sumi also expressed his appreciation to the masses who left all their activities on the election day to know that their party won the election, which God answered their prayers and gave victory to the PDP.

After the dinner at the E4 resorts, the executive chairman, survey Yakubu Lawi Sumi moved down to the local government Secretariat and sworn all the 13 councillors.

He urged the newly elected councillors to discharge their duties with the fear of God and to give him massive support in order to develop the local government.

The chairman of the local government, survey Yakubu Lawi Sumi called on the good people of the local government to support his administration and also put him in prayers so that the area should continue living peacefully.
