Buachi records total Compliance to NLC, TUC nationwide strike

Buachi state on Monday recorded total compliance to the Nigeria Labour Congress and Trade Union Congress, TUC, nationwide strike.

The Nations News Nigeria reports that public offices in the state were under lock and key, as workers shunned work.

Our correspondent who went round the Buachi metropolis to monitor compliance, discovered that the labour leaders in Buachi, used leaves to barricade the main gates of most public offices in the state.

It was gathered that both state the federal secretariat were locked down.

Banks in the state have equally joined the strike, as customers who came to do one or two transactions were told to vacate the bank premises, because there is no work.

Also, some businesses close to the Bauchi State Secretariat suffered huge setback, as there was no customers/ workers to patronize them.

The Nations News Nigeria equally gathered that all the public schools in the state joined the strike but private schools didn’t.
