According to him: “Ezeife played indispensable roles towards the unconditional release of Nnamdi Kanu, election of Nigeria President of Igbo extraction, end to sit-at-home and insecurity, establishment of Southeast Development Commission and political justice for all the zones in the country.

The group also demanded that President Bola Ahmed Tinubu should as well immortalize him: “Similarly the Federal Government should immortalize him by naming any national monument in his memory and for President Tinubu to accent to a bill for an act establishing Southeast Development Commission recently passed into law by the National Assembly, in appreciation of his unprecedented selfless sacrifices and services to our country.

“It is of prime importance for political class and civil servants to emulate him so as to actualize Nigeria of our dreams, hopes and aspirations in tandem with philosophy of our founding fathers.

“We equally commend presidential candidate of Labour Party, Peter Obi for his love, respect, care and concern towards the late Ezeife” they stated.
