2027: Niger Youth groups demand for competent, mature leader as governor

As the political temperature in Niger State gradually heats up, Youth groups  in Niger State have expressed concern over the quality of leaders that will effectively pilot the affairs of Niger State as the 2027 governorship election draws nearer.

 The youth groups noted that, Chief Executive officer of a State is a serious business that requires a stable, mature and responsive individual to drive a vision.

In a statement by a group of youth, “Kolo magba Association of Wushishi local government area and  signed by Abdullahi Maina said Niger deserves a better deal than what is currently  on ground.

“We the “youths across Niger State are against charlatan leadership across the country, but we found MK Kpautagi as governor of Niger State come 2027 

” He is  a humble retired season.civil servants exhibiting maturity at every humane  individual with superb human relations”

  According to the group , Dr Mohamed Kpautagi have witnessed life Challenges and have imbibe decency,discipline, tolerance and his incorruptibility which no doubt will  be exhibited if elected as governor of Niger State come 2027.

They noted that,.Kpautagi  who has gone  through life’s journey, has all what it takes to govern the state owing to the fact that he started   life from scratch.

” This  is a man abreast with the pains of the society,he is a credible and reliable candidate to govern the state.

 “We want the National  Assembly to amend the constitution by allowing only senior retired civil servants to aspire for high political offices and especially,governorship positions.

 “This no doubt will ensure decency by restoring acceptable democracy instead of making money bags to takes over the governance of the country”

 Also in another solidarity movement signed by the National PRO Arewa G19 forum,Comrade Liman Suleman called  on Nigerians  to avoid money bags politicians from accessing any  public office in 2027.

” Let’s not allow people who has never been in any  office or know what citizens are passing through to  hijack the political space”

 Comrade Suleiman said , Kpautagi is a seasoned administrator at both state and federal level with solid educational standing.

” He served in many capacities during his service years, appointed in National strategic committee and professional bodies,a member of the presidential monitoring committee on monitoring NDDC projects , member National institute of project managers.

  ” Those are the calibre of people who have the capacity and ability to perform effectively as governor”

They noted that Niger State has been blessed with seasoned administrators like late Governor Abdulkadir Kure and Chief servant former governor Mu’azu Babangida Aliyu who served the state effectively and with a high sense of maturity Suleiman  stressed.
