By Cyprian Ebele, Onitsha
The National President of Human Dignity Restoration Association, (HDRA), Jude Achebe, has been ordained a Rev. Pastor by the General Superintendent of Living Spring World Alive Assembly, Bishop Sylvanus Onwuachu, at Nkpor, Idemili North Local Government area, Anambra state.
Ordaining him during a special church service in his honour, Bishop Onwuachu.recalled that Achebe started at the early age to worship God and later in life moved to Niger Republic and finally to London.
He disclosed that, “In Niger he invited me to come and open a church and I came and did that and the church is still there. Life moved him to London where he was trained and ordained as a pastor in 2009 at kingsway International Church of Christ, KICC, London.
“Today, I poured oil on your head and Pronounce you ordained as a Rev. pastor, to do the work of evangelization which you started from your infancy,” the Bishop stated.
In his response, the activist lauded the Bishop for finding him worthy to be so ordained to serve God adding that it is an elevation and that one whom much is giving much is expected from him.

“It is an added responsibility, it will spur me to do more now that I am elevated to Rev. Pastor. During our school days at the Bible school in London, one of our mates told me I was gifted, I have to open a church., What I believe in is doing the work, not speaking the work, that was what made me to form human right organization, to reach out to the vulnerable ones.
” I really understand when Jesus said when I was sick you visited me. That was what makes me to not only stand in the pulpit, but to go out and reach the people that couldn’t help themselves and that is what makes me to form human right organization in 2018
“In any step you go you have to be equipped, so today I am elevated and elevated to higher position as a reverend, ,elevated from pastor to Rev. pastor
“I have a burden now, many people will rely on me, I am elevated to senior, not only those who don’t know Christ are my concern but other people who are now known as junior rank in spirit.
“My areas of concentration is teaching , teaching about kingdom especially the Muslim brothers. I am fresh, there is nothing special about me, and I pray God to help me and that is the only thing that protects me.. Before I do something I will ask my self what will people say,” he stated.
In his remark, Linus Uchefuna, (a.k.a. Ichie Ikedinaekpere), said that the activist will one day become a Bishop because he was brought up in a Christian family and his father was a chieftain of the church.
“I expected him to be ordained because his father was a man of God. Now that he has been ordained he will now do the work more than he has been doing,” he stated.
Contributing, Ichie Eugene Ubagu, (a.k.a. Ichie Ibolo Abogu), stated that, “it is a thing of joy that he has been ordained as Rev. Pastor. He has been given power to carry on the work. This is the type of people we want because he can speak without fear or favour,” he stated.
