Police rescue kidnap victim in girei LGA

The Adamawa State Police Command has announced the successful rescue of a kidnapped victim, one Abdullahi Usman, a resident of Unguwan Abuja, Viniklang in Girei Local Government Area.

The rescue followed a distress call received from one Adamu Shugaba, who timely reported hearing someone groaning inside an uncompleted building at Jabbore, Viniklang. Upon arrival.

He discovered the victim tied with a piece of cloth on both hands and legs.

In a statement signed by the police public relations officer SP Sulaiman Yahaya ngroje state that  the command deployed Divisional Police Officer, Viniklang  and team of operatives to the scene.

The victim was rescued unhurt and rushed to Hospital for medical examination.

The Commissioner of Police, Adamawa State Command, CP Dankombo Morris,,commended the officers for their prompt response and directed the Anti-Kidnapping Unit to take over the case and ensure the arrest of the perpetrators.

The police Boss  urged members of the public to always report suspicious movements or persons to the nearest police station.
