The meeting involved members of the management team, tactical units, heads of departments, area commanders, and unit heads across the state.
Nnadi explained that the gathering became necessary in view of the prevailing security challenges in the state and the need to adequately prepare personnel for the responsibilities associated with the forthcoming elections.
He noted that the command was focused on strengthening operational strategies through regular consultations and training.
According to him, the command considered it important to bring together all operational and tactical units to brainstorm on ways to improve security coordination and address emerging threats.
He stressed that election periods are often accompanied by heightened political activities capable of creating tension if not properly managed.
The commandant disclosed that the NSCDC had already commenced the process of debriefing, training, and retraining personnel to ensure they are fully equipped for election security duties.
He added that the command would continue to maintain professionalism and neutrality in carrying out its responsibilities.
Nnadi further stated that the command would not neglect other statutory responsibilities despite preparations for the elections.
He noted that adequate security measures had also been put in place for the Eid al-Adha celebrations to guarantee peaceful festivities for Muslim faithful across the state.
Highlighting some of the achievements of the command, the NSCDC boss said the agency had remained at the forefront of protecting critical national and local government infrastructure, promoting safe schools, combating pipeline vandalism, and supporting public safety initiatives in Ebonyi State.
He added that the command had continued to collaborate effectively with other security agencies through intelligence sharing and joint operations.
According to him, “the synergy among security agencies had significantly improved security management and response to criminal activities within the state in recent months.
Speaking on political activities in the state, Nnadi revealed that the NSCDC had successfully provided security coverage during political party primaries conducted in recent weeks.

He maintained that all political parties were given equal opportunity and protection to carry out their activities in a peaceful environment.
