2027: Group calls for massive votes,  support for Gov. Nwifuru in Ebonyi

A noon governmental organization, NGO, on the aegis of ‘Giving to the Needies Mission Int’l’ has ahead of the forthcoming 2027 general election in the country, called on the citizens to give massive votes and support to governor Francis Nwifuru in Ebonyi state.

The group made this known in a fifteen paragraph communique, issued to newsmen, shortly after a high level regional meeting who took place in Abakaliki, capital of Ebonyi State, tasked Nigerians to vote massively for Francis Nwifuru to win, so as to enable him complete all the ongoing infrastructures in the state.

The communique signed by it’s BOT chairman, Reuben Uche Egwu and Secretary, Collins Azu, emphasized that: “We, extensively deliberated on the current political, economic and developmental realities of Ebonyi State under the purposeful leadership of Francis Ogbonna Nwifuru and unanimously resolved as follows:

“Giving to the Needies Mission Int’l unanimously adopts Governor Francis Ogbonna Nwifuru as the Sole Gubernatorial Candidate for the 2027 General Election in Ebonyi State owing to his exemplary leadership disposition, people-oriented governance philosophy and commitment to the welfare of the ordinary Ebonyian under the People’s Charter of Needs Agenda.

“The meeting commends Governor Nwifuru for restoring hope, confidence and governmental responsiveness in Ebonyi State through policies and programmes that have directly impacted the lives of the poor, vulnerable, youths, women and rural dwellers across the thirteen local government areas of the State.

“The organisation notes with profound satisfaction the unprecedented infrastructural revolution currently ongoing in Ebonyi State, particularly the construction of the VANCO concentric flyovers and other strategic urban renewal projects which have transformed the landscape of Abakaliki into a modern and rapidly developing capital city worthy of global recognition.

“The meeting applauds Governor Nwifuru for his bold investments in human capital development, especially the award of foreign and local scholarships to hundreds of Ebonyi indigenes studying in various institutions within and outside Nigeria, thereby empowering a new generation of globally competitive professionals and scholars.

“The regional stakeholders acknowledge the Governor’s commitment to education, evidenced by the renovation and construction of schools, recruitment of teachers, improvement in learning infrastructure and deliberate policies aimed at making education accessible to children from poor homes.

“The organisation commends the administration for prioritising workers’ welfare, including prompt payment of salaries, pensions and gratuities, as well as creating an enabling environment for civil servants to operate with renewed dignity and motivation.

“The meeting further recognises the Governor’s strategic interventions in the health sector, particularly the revitalisation of healthcare facilities, recruitment of medical personnel and expansion of access to quality healthcare services in rural communities.

“The organisation firmly believes that continuity in governance remains necessary for the consolidation of the numerous developmental milestones already achieved, and therefore calls on all well-meaning citizens and residents of Ebonyi State to rally behind Governor Francis Ogbonna Nwifuru for a resounding second term victory in 2027.

“The meeting resolves to mobilise support across wards, local governments and senatorial zones in favour of Governor Nwifuru’s re-election bid, while encouraging political stakeholders, youths, women groups, market associations and the business community to sustain their support for the administration.

“We appeal to the people of Ebonyi State to protect and sustain the gains of the current administration by ensuring massive support and votes for Governor Francis Ogbonna Nwifuru in the 2027 gubernatorial election, in order to guarantee continuity, stability, accelerated development and shared prosperity for all” the group emphasized.
