The embattled National Vice Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Ali Odefa has been warned by the Federal High Court sitting in Abakaliki, Ebonyi State to desist from parading himself as the leader of the party in South East region.
Recall that the former national chairman of the party in the South East region, Odefa was suspended on 4th October 2024 for allegedly indulging in anti-party activities and other related offences.
The Nations News Nigeriareports that the embattled vice chairman, Odefa was suspended by the executive committee of the party at his Oguduokwor Ward in Onicha local government area of Ebonyi State.
The federal high court judge, Justice Hilary Oshomah in suit no FHC/AI/CS/182/2024 between Herbert Ovuta and Odefa, ruled that the suspension of the embattled Ali Odefa by his ward executives was valid.
Oshomah further ruled that the embattled National vice chairman of PDP in South East region, Odefa should not in any way call or address himself as the chairman of the party in the region.
When contacted for reaction, Ali Odefa said that he is unaware of such a court judgement, and that until he receives a copy of the said judgment, he will then take a stand.
