UNICROSS VC, Abua warns students to shun exam malpractice, cultism, other social vices

The Acting Vice Chancellor of Cross River state University, David Abua Oga on Thursday warned students to shun all forms of misconduct, including exams malpractice, cultism and other social vices that could tarnish their reputation and hinder their Progress 

Abua made this known while speaking at the 23rd matriculation ceremony of the University, held at the main campus in Calabar

He said that the institution has admitted 9,284 students drawn from ten faculties for 2024/25 academic session 

Abua maintained that the institution is committed to providing students with an environment that nurtures students academic growth and personal development where they would be prepared for the demands by the global society. 

“I urge you to prepare your minds to work hard from the beginning”, stating that their next four or five years of their academic journey will be a defining period of their lives, that must not be allowed to be distracted so as not to derail them from achieving their goals”, he said.
