Subsidy removal: GIDI real estate partners oil firm to provide facility, compliment govt’s upcoming refinery
An estate firm known as GIDI real estate in conjunction with Mid Oil Refining and Petrochemicals Company Limited, on Monday set to partner, to provide facility and compliment the government:s upcoming refinery in the country.
The CEO of GIDI Real Estate Investment Limited, Mr Tobi Akerele who spoke to newsmen in Abuja, said the partnership is timely, and that the facility will also serve the expatriates of the Mid-Oil refinery that is coming up in Epe.
The Nations News Nigeria reports that the project will feature a commercial and residential zone, that includes; lagoon front, golf course, helipad, infinity pool, resort, healthcare centre, fire service post. Shopping mall, power plant, police station, and neighborhood park.
Akerele who emphasized on the importance of the project to Nigeria’s real estate sector, said that the project is aimed at combining residential, and commercial features to create a city within a city.
He further highlighted the features of the land mark estate as one of a kind, which will contribute significantly to the industry, while also offering endless possibilities for the investors.
Responding, Mrs Amina Abdulahi a retiree of NNPC,.said the landmark project, when executed will compliment the upcoming refinery in the country.
She enjoined other companies to emulate such steps as a way of making thier staff happy.
“with this positive collaboration from both sectors (Gidi Real Estate Investment Limited And MidOil Refining and petrochemicals Company Limited), it is clear that we will have more serene cities in the country” she stressed.
