Police nab 4 armed robber suspects in Bauchi

Bauchi State police command on Wednesday arrested four suspected armed robbers, recovered 11 items.
This was contained in a press statement signed by the command spokesman, Ahmed Wakil and made available to newsmen in Bauchi.
The items recovered from the suspects include of the One (1) travelling back, Two (2) sets of clothes, Two (2) sets of sneakers, Two (2) Shap Cutlass, One (1) Android phone, One (1) Keypad mobile phone and Two (2) Torch lights.

He said that preliminary investigation revealed that one of the suspects, Alhassan Jibrin, better known as Babani Biri of Danjuma Goje Area of Bauchi, unknowingly abandoned his android mobile phone during their robbery operation. While others are Lawan Adamu, Lawan Idris and Muhammad Yau.

He further said that during the interrogation, the suspects confessed to having criminally conspired among themselves and invaded houses located behind V.I.O. Office along Jos Road, Bauchi, where they attacked innocent occupants and robbed them of their valuables on different occasions.
The state Commissioner of police, Sani-Omolori Aliyu directed that the case should be transferred to the State Criminal Investigation Department (SCID) for discreet investigation, after which the suspects will be profiled and charged to court for the established offences.
