Police arrest 29-yr-old Man over alleged killing of a minor in Adamawa

The Adamawa State Police Command has arrested a 29-year-old man, Isiaka Hassan, for allegedly killing a 5-year-old boy, Abba Bashiru, in Tingno, Lamurde Local Government Area.
The police received a report from the boy’s mother, Hadiza Bashiru, on August 30, 2025, stating that her son was missing and was last seen with the suspect
The command’s operatives, led by the Divisional Police Officer, Tingno, swiftly launched an operation and arrested the suspect. During interrogation, Hassan confessed to conspiring with another individual, who is still at large, to kill the boy and bury him in a shallow grave.

The police exhumed the corpse and took it to the hospital for an autopsy.
The Commissioner of Police, CP Dankombo Morris has directed the State CID to take over the case and ensure the arrest of the fleeing suspect.

The police are working to apprehend the second suspect and bring them to justice.
