NSCDC Commandant Gen, Sudi applauded for ensuring safety, well being of Nigerian Citizens.

The commandant General of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps, NSCDC, Prof. Armed Abubakar Sudi, has been applauded for upholding the law and ensuring the safety and well being of Nigerian Citizens.

The Anambra State Commandant, NSCDC, Mr. Maku Olatunde who made this known through in a statement signed and issued to newsmen in Onitsha, felicitated with the commandant general, Sudi for marking his three years in office.

Olatunde expressed satisfaction with the commandant general, Sudi’s noble achievements, selflessness in upholding the law, restructuring and repositioning the Corps to be in tandem with the International best practices, has turned the fortunes of the Corps.

According to him: “Your noble achievements through dint of hard-work are unprecedented, massive promotion of officers and men, introduction of new/combats uniforms and adherence to dressings code.

“The payment of personnel emolument, prompt payment of financial benefits to next of kins of deceased personnel, payment of wage award to sick, injured and demobilized operatives in line of duties, and clearing of arrears of promotion of many years.

Mr. Olatunde however, prayed for Sudi’s greater heights for the remaining years as the commandant General of NSCDC, “May it bring you good health, happiness and fulfillment in all your endeavors” he stated.
