Niger: CAN condoles DG Bureau of Religious affairs over mother’s death

The Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN) Niger State chapter has commiserated with the Director General, Bureau for Religious Affairs, Sheikh Umar Farooq Abdullahi over the demise of his mother, Hajiya Nana Khadija Abdullahi.

The Christian Umbrella  Religious body In a condolence message made available to newsmen by the State  Chairman, Bulus Dauwa Yohanna condoled with Sheikh Farooq and his family, noting that Hajia lived a fulfilled life.

Bishop Yohanna therefore encouraged the DG, Religious Affairs to be consoled with the good and fulfilling life his mother lived as evident in the way she nurtured him and many others into greatness.

He then prayed to the Almighty God to comfort him, his immediate and extended families and grant Mama Khadija eternal rest.

The Christian Association of Nigeria and the Niger State Government has been enjoying a relatively good relationship recently culminating in the decision of the State government approving the reintroduction of Christian Religious knowledge as a subject in all public schools in Niger State after its suspension for over 20 years.
