Monarch, Iweka awards SPACS’s Commander for fighting against crimes, criminalities in Anambra

The traditional ruler of Obosi, HRM, Igwe Chidubem Iweka, has honoured the Commander, Special Anti Cultism Squad, SPACS, Obosi unit, Idemili North Local Government Area, Anambra State, Mr. Azeez Nuhu, for fighting crime and criminality in the area.

Igwe Iweka described the Commander as very active in the discharge of his duty for about 12 years he has known him and urged him not to relent.

The award which was for his gallantry, according to the monarch, would spur him to do more adding that he has been part of those who restored peace and security in the community.

Mr. Nuhu, among others were honoured during the initiation of about 200 octogenarians into the Ito Igbo society of Obosi, held at Aforadike market square weekend.

Highlight of the occasion was honouring of some people who have distinguished themselves in different fields of human endeavours that included the SPACS Obosi unit Commander, Nuhu.

Expressing satisfaction for the honour done him, the Commander said, “I dedicate my award to the Inspector General of Police, IGP, Mr. Kayode Egbetokun, and Anambra Commissioner of Police, CP, Mr Ederemi Adeoye, for posting me to Obosi where the community found me worthy to be accorded the honor.

“The honour will spur me to perform more than I have been doing for the interest of God and humanity. The award is a call to duty,” he stated.
