Monarch decries lack of teachers, structures in Bauchi Communities

The traditional leader of Ruggan Fulanin Kabba community, Alhaji Muhammadu Dauda on Thursday decried lack of teachers and good structures in three communities of Bauchi state.
Dauda lamented that the lack of teachers and structures in various communities; Bakwal, Tamungas and Ruggan Fulanin Kabba have negatively affected the children schooling in those areas, stressing that children spent 6 months without going to School.
The traditional leader, Dauda however called for the intervention of the Bauchi state government led by governor, Bala Mohamad, to provide with the affected schools quality teachers and conducive environment for learning.
He said that the school was having only one teacher but, is now retired from work.
Dauda maintained that after the retirement of the head master, no single teacher again and the students have now spent consecutive six months without going to school for lack of teachers.
He said that there was a block built by the former governor of the state, Mal. Isa Yuguda, since that time nothing like renovation and the school is completely dilapidated.
He further said that the school was built during the administration of governor Isa Yuguda in order for the children of the community to have access to education.
The traditional leader said that the students are not coming to school again for lack of having a single teacher and structure in the school.
“Without school, the lives of our children will be in danger and they will not have a brighter future. With this condition, our children have not gone to school for the past six months, which is very bad.
“We should not look down on the children because some of them will be President, governor’s, Minister’s, senators, doctors, mechanic, plumbers and others’ he stressed.
