LG boss, Agwu applauds Tinubu, others for flagging off 118.85km super highway in Ebonyi

The Ishielu Local Government Chairman, Mrs. Peace Ifeoma Agwu, has applauded President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, governor Francis Nwifuru and the minister of works, David Umahi for embarking in the construction of 118.85 kilometer of Calabar-Ebonyi- Benue-Nasarawa- Abuja super highway.
Agwu made this known while speaking to journalists in Abakaliki shortly after the flag-off of the Calabar-Ebonyi- Benue-Nasarawa- Abuja super highway that took place at Mgbom Oru playgrounds, Afikpo local government area of Ebonyi State.
The Nations News Nigeria reports that the heroic event was attended by prominent stakeholders of the state including: former SGF, Pius Anyim, national Assembly members etc.
Mrs. Agwu lauded Governor Nwifuru’s commitment and leadership, praising him for his role in facilitating this landmark infrastructure project. She specifically commended the efforts of the Minister of Works, Engr. David Umahi, whose initiatives have been crucial in bringing the project to fruition.
“This super highway will serve as a vital arterial route connecting three major geopolitical zones in our country,” said Mrs. Agwu. “Upon its completion, it will not only enhance accessibility but also significantly boost trade and economic activities across the regions it traverses.” she stressed.

She pointed out that the super highway is expected to create numerous job opportunities for the local populace, thereby lifting many families out of poverty and stimulating greater economic potentials in the region.
“This project is more than just a road; it is a pathway to prosperity for our people,” Mrs. Agwu stated. “We are confident that with the diligence of our leaders and the cooperation of the community, this highway will become a reality.”
“This is a testament to the vision and leadership of our government, and we must rally behind it to maximize its benefits for all,” she concluded.
