Late Buhari was a principled man who meant well for Nigeria — Okah-Donli

Former President Muhammadu Buhari has been described as a principle and disciplined man who meant well for the country during his eight year’s reign as leader.

In a  condolences  message by  Dame Julie Okah Donli former Director General of the National Agency for the prohibition of trafficking in persons (Naptip) said the country will miss his moral compass.

“It is with deep sorrow that I join millions of Nigerians to mourn the passing of Muhammadu Buhari, former President and Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of the Federal Republic of Nigeria”

She noted that late President Buhari was a statesman of deep conviction, principled leadership, and unwavering dedication to national service.

“Throughout his distinguished public career—first as a military Head of State and later as a democratically elected President, he remained committed to the ideals of discipline, integrity, and national development.

According  to her his efforts in the fight against corruption, the strengthening of democratic institutions,  marked a significant chapter in Nigeria’s  history. His legacy will continue to resonate in our minds.

As the former Director-General of the National Agency for the Prohibition of Trafficking in Persons (NAPTIP), “I recall with deep appreciation the unwavering support his administration provided in the fight against human trafficking and in the pursuit of justice for the vulnerable and exploited persons
