‘I’m aware of the incessant poverty, hunger bedeviling Citizens in Bauchi – Gov. Abdulkadir

The Bauchi state governor, Bala Muhammad Abdulkadir has reiterated the preparedness of his administration to tackle the incessant poverty, anger and hunger bedeviling Citizens in the state.
Abdulkadir said that arrangement has been made to start distributing second round of palliatives to the vulnerable people across the state to cushion the effects of hunger and hardship.
He made this known during in meeting with the key government officials, stakeholders of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, in the state, which took place at the Sultan Sa’ad Abubakar Hajj Camp in Bauchi.
The governor, Abdulkadir emphasized that his administration will focus on eradicating poverty and enhancing the lives of the good people of Bauchi state.
“I appreciate the statesmanship shown by all attendees and encourage continued support for our policies aimed at fostering state-wide economic development.
He noted further that his administration is aware of the incessant poverty, anger and hunger bedeviling the Citizens of the state, and therefore decided to embark on the second Phase distribution of palliatives as a way to bring soccur to the people of the state.
The Governor, Abdulkadir however, appreciated the citizens of the state for the support given to his administration, despise the difficulties and still support the programs and policies of his administration.
He however revealed the committed efforts of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu to implement measures that will stabilize prices of goods, encourage economic growth, and promote the prosperity and well-being of Nigerians.
The governor, Abdulkadir however, appointed Aminu Hassan Gamawa who is the chief of staff, Bauchi State government to head the palliative distribution, while the state executive council members, serving caretaker chairmen and coordinators are members.
