By Cyprian Ebele, Onitsha
Irked by the spate of land grabbing, intimidation of widows, downtrodden, killings, among other atrocities being perpetrated in Oba, Idemili South Local Government area, Anambra state prior to the installation of new monarch, Igwe, Augustine Chinedu Emelobe, the Umuada Igbo in Delta state have placed death, perpetual suffering and madness curses on the perpetrators of such atrocities.
Placing the curses through her coordinator, Mrs Patience Obiora, the women warned that unless they, land grabbers and other criminals return the land to their rightful owners now, stop all evils being committed and apologise to their victims, the war against them has commenced with the enthronement of Igwe Emelobe.
“Scores of land owners especially widows and those poor people who have nobody to speak for them have died because of forceful take over of their ancestorial land by those who feel they are more powerful.

“The new monarch of Oba, Igwe Emelobe is a no nonsense man, he will recover those landed properties for the poor owners. Before he was enthroned as Igwe of Oba, he has been fighting for the widows and others against the land grabbers and other criminal elements.
“Emelobe’s enthronement is not from the backdoor, not fake, he is the Igwe oranyelu, (Ezeokpoko 11), means all agreed to install him as Igwe Oba, not 419 monarch, his reign is divine.
“Those enemies of progress should know he is a high pastor in the Mountain of Fire Church, so whichever way you are coming from, he is equal to the task.
“He is not a politician, not selfish, he is divine sent to rescue Oba from bondage. To come and repair things that have been spoilt a long time ego. There are many of our youths that have gone astray because of hardship.
“Now there will be job opportunity for them because of the enthronement of the new monarch. God is not an author of confusion, mark today, latest two years’ time, you will not know Oba again.
“It will not be that Oba you know. If you want to go to Oba you will be asked if it is new Oba or old Oba because of the infrastructure that will be put in place by the monarch,” she boasted.
