I will sanction any of my advisers found wanting – Gov Bala reveals

Governor Bala Mohammed Abdulkadir of Bauchi State on Tuesday said that he will not hesitate to sanction any of the newly appointed special advisers who may be found wanting in his place of work.
The governor, Bala said this during the swearing in of the eight (8) newly appointed special advisers at the executive council chambers of the state government house, Bauchi State.
The newly appointed Special Advisers include of Sanusi Khalifa – Special Adviser on Solid Minerals, Haladu Ayuba – Special Adviser on Societal Reorientation, Jidauna Tula – Special Adviser on Legal Matters and Adamu Bello – Special Adviser on Commerce and Industries.
Others are Danladi Mohammed Danbaba – Special Adviser on Humanitarian Affairs, Sani Mohammed Burra – Special Adviser on State/National Assembly Matters, Yakub Ibrahim Hamza – Special Adviser on Higher Education and Shitu Zaki – Special Adviser on Political Matters.
He said that the newly appointed special advisers should see their appointment as a challenge also an opportunity to prove themselves in their respective areas of responsibility.
According to the governor, Bala said that “Four of the five commissioners who were recently dropped have been re-appointed as special advisers, which demonstrates our commitment to retaining competent individuals in our administration
“You should work closely with commissioners and other principal officers of government to achieve the set goals of the administration.”
He disclosed to the special advisers that they will have access to government funds and are expected to manage resources prudently, ensuring accountability and transparency in their dealings and cautioned them to avoid misusing their positions for personal gain and to maintain high moral standards in their official and personal conduct.
The state governor, Bala Mohammed Abdulkadir emphasised the importance of collaboration among ministries, departments, and agencies, as well as between special advisers and commissioners.
