Female LG chairman, Agwu, Flags Off Free Medical outreach in Ishielu communities

The Chairman of Ishielu Local Government Area, Mrs. Agwu Ifeoma Peace, on Friday inaugurated a free medical outreach program, designed to serve over 2,000 residents of the Ishielu community.
The event, held at Ezzillo community, Ishielu LGA,.marked a significant step towards enhancing healthcare accessibility among citizens of the area.
During the flag-off ceremony, Mrs. Agwu vowed to show more commitment towards providing quality health services to the people.
She stated further that the initiative is aimed at addressing the pressing healthcare needs of her constituents.
According to her: “It is my goal to ensure that our people have access to quality health care,” and however emphasized that the medical outreach will become an annual event
In a related development, the National Association of Community Health Practitioners, Ebonyi State Chapter, led by Mrs. Chittachi Jerry Uslor, presented a prestigious award to Mrs. Agwu, recognizing her as a “Pillar of Community Health in Ebonyi State.”
Mr. Kabir Yahaya Ahmed, the National President of Community Health Practitioners, applauded Mrs. Agwu for her exemplary contributions, stating that; “This award is in recognition of her unwavering commitment to tackling health issues in her local government area.”
Mrs. Chittachi Jerry Uslor further commended Mrs. Agwu’s leadership qualities, highlighting her efficient management in the healthcare sector. “Her relentless drive for community health improvement is commendable and sets a precedent for other local government leaders,” Uslor added.
