The family of late Ezeogo Augustine Okwor Onuma, of Nkalaha Autonomous Community in Ishielu Local Government Area of Ebonyi State have called on the State government to withdraw their earlier complaint against the person and office of the Commissioner for Local Government and Chieftaincy Matters, Ebonyi State, Uchenna Igwe.
This was contained in a letter submitted to the office of the governor through the ministry of Local government by the solicitor of the family, Emeka Anosike and Associate on behalf of the Late His Royal Highness, Eze Augustine Okwor of Nkalaha Kingdom’s family.
According to the statement, it became expedient after careful study of the matter and meeting with the Commissioner, proving him innocent on the issues of concern.

The statement reads in part: “The Late Okwor Onuma’s family sincerely apologize to the state Governor, Francis Ogbonna Nwifuru for all that took place”, adding that a mix- up in the system caused the complaint.
The Nations News Nigeria reports that the family of the former Traditional Ruler of Nkalaha Autonomous Community Late Eze Okwor nwa Onuma and some concerned members of the community had sometime last year complained of unfair treatment on them by the ministry after the death of their father and Ezeogo.
After a series of meetings and consultations, the family here resorted to round table discussions to ensure peace and tranquility in the Area.
