He recalled that it is because of selfless service and belief in one God irrespective of religious, tribal and political affiliation that the Anglican Church on the Niger described Governor Soludo as ‘Father of Ecumenism.

He extolled Governor Soludo on the diversity of government, recalling that the governor charged Christians and the government to learn from Bishop Ajayi Crowther.

” We are the same people in God and it is the message to everyone, especially we, at the government, to see the entire society as a common society and common people,” he said..

On the commissioning of a storey building and a furnished classroom for the school of deaf and dumb by a transport magnate, Chief Godwin Okeke and family, he urged Ndi Anambra to see that the humanitarian service is the sacrifice Abraham made, saying that, “Today, Abraham’s blessings are shining”.

“Helping the needy is a collective responsibility, to every individual whether you are private individual or government, you build a reproductive society with our collective responsibility.

“The resources in Anambra State coffers are two per cent while 98 per cent is in the hands of private individuals. So the government will not do everything in building the infrastructures, it requires all hands to be on deck and great strides building a platform for human capital development.

“I think that is the best way of developing society because education is the life wire of every society. The quality of people will determine the quality of the society. I appreciate them for that decision in taking up our youth, our children’s basic education.

” I urged everyone to queue into the commitment in thinking about the society because we in the immediate society will still connect finally to the outside society, so the outside society is the most critical sign to every responsible citizen.
