Eld-el-Fitir: NSCDC boss deploys 1,100 personnel, warns criminals to vacate Bauchi

The Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corp (NSCDC) Bauchi Command on Saturday deployed one thousand one hundred (1,100) Personnel ahead of the Eld-el-Fitir celebration in Bauchi.
This was contained in a press statement signed by the CDPRO, ASCII Saminu Yusuf and made available to newsmen in the state.
The state commandant Oloyede Nelson Oyerinde said the deployment of personnel is as a result of the public holiday on Monday 31st March,2025 as declared by the federal government which is made up of officers in uniform for overt operations and plain clothes for covert operations.
He said that deployed 1,100 personnel to ensure safety of lives and properties during Eid-el-fitr, throughout the length and breadth of Bauchi state.
The state commandant, Oyerinde also said that the officers and men deployed for the operations were drawn from various departments, units, area commands and divisions of the command across the state.

According to him, said “This is to make sure that lives and properties of people in Bauchi state are safeguarded”
“Also the protection of critical national assets and infrastructure would be ensured throughout the state.
The state commandant rejoices with the Muslim faithful in the state and wished them happy Eid-el-fitr celebration”
The Bauchi State NSCDC commandant, Oloyede Nelson Oyerinde warned all criminal elements in the state to either desist or leave the state as they will face the full wrath of the law if caught.
